Favourite Colour Combo

Hello all! It's time again to take on a few challenges, and I gained lots of inspiration from Pinterest this time, as well as from many of all those great challenge blogs out there. I've made a card with my favourite colour combo red and pink, which I think is so vibrant, so alive and also very beautiful. It's a colour combo which makes a statement.

This card was entered into the following challenges:

Deep Ocean Challenge Blog: 138 Anything Goes
As You Like It: Favourite Colour Combo and Why
Brown Sugar Challenge Blog: 218 Anything Goes
The Ribbon Girl Blog: October Card Challenge

Crop Stop Challenge #19

Hello everybody!
Hope you're having a great day today! I've enjoyed some time in my crafting-room and today I'd like to share a card made with beautiful design papers from G45. I think both the front and inside of card turned out fine. I just love that combination of pink and blue, and the paper with lanterns is a favourite.

This card was inspired by challenge #19 at CropStop. Note that the G45 brand is available at CropStop though I don't know which paper collections they have in stock at the moment. This card was also entered into challenge #377 at Allsorts: Fabulous Florals.

Thank you for visiting!

Challenge at Hjerteboden

Hej allesammans!

Kram, Outi

Hello everybody!
Today I'd like to share a card I've made for a couple who are getting married. The bride's favourite colour is lilac and I enjoyed making a wedding card which wasn't entirely white. This card was also entered into the challenge at Hjerteboden.

Thank you for visiting today!

Anything But a Card

Hello all!
When I visited the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog I just knew I had to join their current challenge Anything But a Card #146 with ribbon or trim. This is the outcome of my efforts in the crafting-room:

A lilac themed tag from scrap pieces embellished with large flowers. My favourite is the two-toned lily. Thank you for stopping by today!

Preparing for Christmas...

Hello everybody! Summer is now slowly fading away. Here in south Sweden July was unusually hot but now the temperature seems to have gone into autumn mode. And soon it's time to prepare for Christmas, isn't it? Anyway, I'd like to share some Christmas tags today. The tags were made from paper scraps which is quite fun. It's a bit of a challenge to make something out of scrap pieces and I really like that.

These Christmas tags were also entered into the Christmas challenge #315 at Fab'n'Funky. Thanks a lot for stopping by.

ICAD Day 6

Hello everybody! This is my day 6 index card. I set out to make a top-ten list but ended up with a top-seven list. No #1 is of course my common-law-husband followed by our two cats Pajas and Filur, freedom, nature, crafting, cake, and finally, solitude.

Wishing you a great day!

ICAD Days 3 - 4 - 5

Hello again! I hope you're all fine and having a great time wherever you are and whatever you are up to. Today is the beginning of a new week of creativity and art at Daisy Yellow Art ICAD challenge. I fell behind last week but I'm still determined to do my best at this challenge. Here are my cards for days 3-5 from last week. Due to bad light when taking these photos they are a bit dull but the main point is keeping the creative juices flowing bad light or not.

Hope to see you here again soon!

ICAD will start on Wednesday!

On Wednesday 1st of June the Daisy Yellow ICAD 2016 will start. It's all about being creative without limits! This will be my first try at using index cards and I feel very lucky since I found some vintage index cards fallen into oblivion.

I'm so looking forward to this though I guess there will be frustration, artists block and black-outs every now and then. So practising a casual just-get-on-with-it mode will hopefully be efficient countermeasures.

You wanna join? Welcome! Click on the picture in the right sidebar and you will get all the info. And there is a Facebook-group too!

Hugs and kisses!

A Clean and Simple Card

Hello everybody! As I've had some days off during Christmas and New Year I've had time for crafting. I'm not a trained CAS card specialist so it was fun to take on the challenge CAS + sketch at the Share Joy Challenge Blog. This is the result of my efforts ;-)

This card was also entered into the current challenge at Kort o Mania.
Take care!

How to Use Dull Scrapbook Paper - Make These Cute Mini-books!

Hello again! Hope you've had a great start on this fresh new year. I still feel great about most things and I hope I will keep my spirits up throughout the year. Today I'd like to share a fun way of using those scrapbook papers whose patterns, colours or whatever don't appeal to you. You know the feeling when you buy a stack of coordinated papers and you love most of them, but then there are a couple of papers that you simply don't like.

Guess how happy I was when a good friend of mine directed me to this link on YouTube. Click on the link and enjoy when The Frugal Crafter shows you how to make cute little note-books with those darn dull papers. And it's super easy! I've already made five mini-books and I'm so happy now that I know how to use the rest of those -what am I going to do - papers. There is nothing so refreshing as learning a new technique!

This little collection books were also entered into the following challenges:
As You Like It - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday #406 Anything Goes
Allsorts Week 344 What's New?
Kort o Mania #144 Anything Goes

I'd be happy to know if you've had as fun as I did when learning to make this mini-books, so feel free to come back and leave a comment. Wishing you all the best!
